(which she loves). Last year Mary was

also preparing children for future

The following quotes are from parents
(used with permission).
“Kendal was very proud of the waka she
made at school and tried floating it at
home. I look forward to seeing the
photos about Kowhai room. What a
wonderful teddy-bears picnic, thank you
for letting me come and enjoy it with
you. Kendal loved the math patterns.” By
Michelle Wyatt-Logan.
“Maya has been teaching her little
brother Mario about fractions using rice
crackers broken in half or into
quarters, very cute.” By Melanie Peters.
“We are very proud of Ngatau’s progress
at school, she has blossomed into a
bright girl. She hates missing a day of
school. She has been practising all week
with her sounds and spelling. I was
amazed with her spelling 4-5 letter
words. Without all the help and
encouragement at school and home Ngatau
would not be where she is now. So once
again, thank you.” From Pat Ruhi & Mere
Hita.
Jessica is really is going well with
pronouncing her letters and then
figuring out the word. Jessica is really
loving school. She even has the
confidence to walk from the car into
classroom now. Outstanding! Her reading
and writing has improved such a lot.
Quite surprising for her age. Awesome
display and great to see everyone’s
thoughts on the cross-country. Great to
see such good efforts from the students
and some of their projects. Jessica is
really excited about pet day as she has
an opportunity to introduce her rabbit
to her class-mates. She enjoyed using
flowers and leaves to produce her
artwork. Sounds like the vegetable
animals were a great way for the kids to
express their art flair.
