SELECT THE SAFEST EXIT
CLEAR in a quiet and orderly manner
• classroom
• toilets and lobbies
• assemble, with the attendance register, on the
tennis court
TEACHER IN RIMU ROOM
SELECT THE SAFEST EXIT
CLEAR in a quiet and orderly manner
• classroom
• reading room
• assemble, with the attendance register, on the
tennis court
TEACHER IN PURIRI ROOM
SELECT THE SAFEST EXIT
CLEAR in a quiet and orderly manner
• classroom
• assemble, with the attendance register, on the
tennis court
• pass class over to the Principal
• check the Puka room and Totara Room
TEACHER IN KAURI ROOM

• check other teachers are assembled
• pass class over to Principal
• check Pohutukawa Room and toilets

At the assembly area, check that all students and
staff are present.
PHONE emergency services needed and decide on action
needed.
OFFICE MANAGER
SELECT THE SAFEST EXIT
CLEAR the Matai block in a quiet and orderly manner.
TAKE the cordless phone, cell phone, current phone
contact list and
first aid kit to the tennis court.
FRENCH ROOM/TOTARA ROOM
SELECT THE SAFEST EXIT
If these rooms are in use the teacher present should
accompany any
students to the assembly area where they should join
their class line.
ALL REMAINING STAFF
You are responsible for ensuring the safest route is
used to move
students in a quiet and orderly manner to the tennis
court.
